For the fine art prints, I'm thinking of taking portraits of each family member's house. I'd like to take them at night because I think that the amount of light coming from the house shows how open and welcoming or closed off and isolated each household is or can be. I'm still not really sold on this idea yet and don't have my heart set on this being the final product.
I like how you are trying to make connections about your family without actually including them in the images. This is a very unique approach to the task you set out for yourself. I think in order for this message to be conveyed to your audience you will need a large number of images to display. I would like to see how these images might look at different times of the day and maybe play around with some sort of a narrative.
